As the world of technology roars in, around and all upon us it feels as if there is a distance put between us and our Work. Both in physical distance and in psychological distance. Many of us no longer have the opportunity to "touch" our Work. We now use computers, keyboards, stylus, monitors, conference calls, videos, cells hones, screens -- a digital, virtual workworld. We no longer mold, smooth, bend, tie, cut, pinch, twist, or gaze closely at something we've made.
